About Us
Julieann Beads are a design led, family business based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Founded in 2005, our unique and distinctive wirework jewellery features handmade glass beads, freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and gemstones sourced from around the world.
Julieann design an extensive range of jewellery including necklaces, bracelets and earrings in addition to a ready to wear wedding jewellery and bridal accessory collection featuring stunning handmade tiaras, headbands and combs.
A popular bespoke designer service is also available creating tailor-made wedding jewellery, tiaras and a range of headwear for brides, bridesmaids, flower-girls and the mother of the bride. Every Julieann bride is unique and we work closely with our brides to ensure that Julieann jewellery is one of the highlights of your special wedding day.
Commissions are always welcome and we would be happy to discuss your requirements for your important events and special occasions.
We are regularly featured in the bridal press e.g. "Wedding Ideas magazine", "Perfect Wedding magazine" as well as "You and Your Wedding magazine".
Julieann design and hand make all of the jewellery shown on our website and we only sell our own designs. We exhibit at a number of local, regional and national shows including shows at various National Trust properties as well as the National Wedding Show and the Festive Gift Fair at the NEC, Birmingham. Selected work from our collection is also available from carefully chosen retail outlets and galleries.
Julieann only use the best materials in our designs from carefully selected suppliers worldwide. Our wirework necklaces are manufactured using flexible but strong nylon coated wire. Our findings (clasps etc) are either Sterling Silver or Silver or Gold plate. All findings comply with the EC Nickel Directive restricting nickel content.
Please note that we do not produce a printed catalogue. This is partly to avoid the felling of more trees but is primarily because our range and stock levels are constantly changing. E-business and direct selling allow us to keep our prices low.
