1. Choose your wedding dress first. Many brides end up falling in love with a totally different wedding dress to the one they had thought was the one for them. Once you have your wedding dress you can start looking for bridal jewellery and wedding hair accessories.
2. Have a really close look at the styling and detailing of your wedding dress. Does it have any embellishments? What fabric is your wedding dress made from? A vintage style lace dress will need different wedding jewellery to a diamante and crystal encrusted silk bridal gown. Mirror the shapes in your wedding dress with the bridal accessories you choose, e.g. v-necklines look lovely with pendant necklaces and wedding hair accessories that feature lines or points in their design.
3. Remember your bridal accessories are to compliment not compete with your wedding dress. If you have a very detailed bridal gown or an ornate hair accessory choose simpler matching wedding jewellery with elements of these design details. Likewise, wedding dresses with little detailing can look stunning with a couple of pieces of statement bridal jewellery.
